We stayed here for two nights and it was just what we needed. A reset from life for the mind, body, and soul. The lake is so peaceful with lots of wild life. We spent our evenings with some beverages and the hot tub. Everything was cleaned well and tidy when we arrived. Location is great as only 1.5hrs from HRM yet far enough into nature you forget it was such a short distance.
We loved our weekend getaway and are already talking about when we can come back! 2 nights wasn’t long enough! The view from the Paddling Dome was gorgeous, the dome was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and spent lots of time on the love seat just hanging out and enjoying the view. Highly recommend!
The drive to Lake Pleasant was beautiful and then it unfolded into something more picturesque than I could have imagined! The dome is spacious but cozy. The property is beautiful. The shared space is set up well. The sauna! Private hot tub! It was majestic, peaceful, and just the getaway we were hoping for. Rowan was accessible, helpful, and really made sure our stay was perfect.
This has got to be my favorite getaway in NS. Absolutely beautiful. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I was in awe. What a perfect place to unwind. The hot tub was amazing, the sauna was incredible, and the bed was a dream! It felt like sleeping in a cloud! The host was super responsive and generous. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is good for the soul!
I can’t say enough about how beautiful this dome really is. The decor is absolutely beautiful! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in, including my own. The dome is exceptionally clean and so warm and cozy. It was a beautiful night to watch the stars from inside and from the hot tub. The hot tub was so relaxing and private and being next to the lake was magical. Having a kitchen was great. It had everything we needed. The shower is so nice too. Everything about this dome is amazing! My only complaint is that we should of stayed 2 nights instead of one. We will definitely be back. Loved it! Thank you for making our anniversary so special.
Husband & I had a mini vacation of 4 days/3 nights. Property is beautiful. Lake greeted you & you notice the maples ranging in colours green to red all around you. Property has a nice wharf to water with only a few steps. The sauna is located nearby & is a real treat with the open view on the end. The cycle of thermal spa between heat, lake, & option of aromatherapy is heaven! We used both kayaks and paddle boards & we kayaked around the entire lake over 3 days (we broke it up in 3 parts…about 1 hr kayak each day) We had clear, beautiful weather which made star gazing down on the wharf spectacular! The quietness of the lake is so tranquil. Now the dome itself is STUNNING! Huge! Fantastic lay out, gorgeous finishes, rustic charm meets luxury! Bathroom is biggest I’ve seen in a dome. Bed is heaven, bedding soft & inviting. Fireplace inside & on deck (was amazing). Deck is huge, patio set comfy, covered BBQ area nice and hot tub is a bonus. Host family were FANTASTIC! Experience= 10/10
